Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

The short version

TCGyard is built local-first. Card recognition runs entirely on your device, your camera frames are never uploaded, and your collection is stored on your phone. We don't require an account and we don't sell data — we don't even have it.

What the app processes on your device

  • Camera frames — used only for on-device card recognition, discarded immediately after processing, never transmitted.
  • Your collection data — cards, quantities, versions and costs you enter are stored locally on your device. You can export them as CSV or delete them at any time.
  • Settings — preferences such as sound, haptics and currency are stored locally.

Network requests the app makes

  • Card images and catalog updates — the app fetches card artwork and set data from our content servers. These requests don't include personal information.
  • App updates — standard update checks through the app platform.

Third-party services

The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and the change announced in the app.

Children's privacy

TCGyard does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app works without an account and keeps everything on the device, no personal data reaches us. If you believe a child has sent us information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you live — including under GDPR and CCPA — you can access, export and delete your data at any time: export it with the app's CSV export, and delete it by clearing the collection in Settings or uninstalling the app. Because the data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to hold, sell or share.

This website

tcgyard.com is a static site. It doesn't set cookies, run third-party trackers, or collect personal information. If you email us, we keep your message only to reply to it.

Future features

If we add optional accounts or cloud backup, they will be opt-in, this policy will be updated first, and local-first will remain the default.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
